Schibsted Tech Polska has now been accepted to the Coalition for Friendly Recruitment, a group of companies that promise to follow a set of ethical guidelines when recruiting new employees.
“We are very proud of our recruitment process, and often get positive feedback from the candidates, even when they don’t get the position,” says Joanna Zasadzinska, director of organizational development in Schibsted Tech Polska.
Quality standards for recruitment
230 companies – now including Schibsted Tech Polska – have been certified by the Coalition for Friendly Recruitment. The coalition is organized by the job portal Pracuj.pl. Calling themselves “Friendly Recruiter”, the members are committed to recruitment quality standards such as:
- Clear information given to the candidates about the process
- Feedback given at each stage
- A contact person the candidate always can reach
- The candidate always knows ahead who he/she will meet
- The process is fast and efficient
Together the standards form the Best Practice of Recruitment designed to give the candidates a positive experience of the process.
Should feel comfortable
“Applying for a job is a stressful experience for many. Therefore, it is important that we help the candidate to feel comfortable during the process,” says Joanna Zasadzinska.
Schibsted Tech Polska always asks the candidates to evaluate the recruitment process.
“But the best test is not what they answer on the evaluation, but whether they reapply to Schibsted Tech Polska later. And many do,” Zasadzinska says.
