After several months of hard work we launched Osloby.no – a website developed for the local community of Oslo, the highlights being a calendar and descriptions of current events, restaurant reviews, local news, fashion and shopping news.
The project was developed using many different technologies, e.g. Java, JSP, Lucene – Hibernate Search, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3. We also created a proprietary original CMS system allowing the user to manage events.
The project was completed to a large extent in Kraków and turned out to be really successful – the number of regular visits to the website was bigger than had been initially assumed and still continues to grow.
