About the team
We’re excited to be launching a brand new IT & Security unit at Schibsted Tech Polska, following the split of Schibsted into two Nordic powerhouses – a major media house and a dynamic marketplace leader. Our mission is to establish a proactive, data-driven team that plays a strategic role in supporting the business while maintaining close and direct communication with our parent organizations. This new unit will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation, delivering high-quality, cost-effective services, and enhancing our operational efficiency. With a strong focus on product, service delivery and cybersecurity, we’re looking for skilled professionals to join us in shaping this dynamic and forward-thinking department.
About the role
This will be a primary engineering role, in charge of developing our CyberSec landscape through dedicated technical solutions and strategic partnerships. We’re looking for people who want to embrace that challenge and oversee a critical part of our business operations.
Security Engineering and Architecture: You’ll be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures across our core IT tech stack, endpoint, and identity security infrastructure (macOS, Windows, Mobile, Okta, Google Workspace). Your role will architect and implement comprehensive security solutions that encompass Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). You’ll ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data and systems through advanced security engineering and architecture.
Threat Detection and Response: You’ll be tasked with developing and implementing advanced threat detection and response capabilities, leveraging XDR or similar technologies to identify, investigate, and mitigate security incidents. You’ll own the analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and the development of effective mitigation strategies.
Security Policy and Compliance: You’ll oversee the technical implementation and enforcement of our security policies, procedures, and standards. You’ll need to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security requirements.
Identity and Access Management: You’ll manage the CyberSec aspect of our identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and privileged access management. You’ll direct the structuring of our user roles and access permissions to closely follow the principles of zero trust and least privilege.
Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): Our CyberSec architecture will be build around SASE technology provider that will integrate network security, cloud security, and zero trust principles.
About you
Technical Expertise: Exceptional technical skills in cybersecurity engineering, with a deep understanding of CyberSec technologies and architectures in the areas of endpoint security, identity management, threat detection and response, and network security.
Security Engineering Proficiency: 7+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing security solutions. Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
