We’re excited to be launching a brand new IT & Security unit at Schibsted Tech Polska, following the split of Schibsted into two Nordic powerhouses – a major media house and a dynamic marketplace leader. Our mission is to establish a proactive, data-driven team that plays a strategic role in supporting the business while maintaining close and direct communication with our parent organizations. This new unit will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation, delivering high-quality, cost-effective services, and enhancing our operational efficiency. With a strong focus on product, service delivery and cybersecurity, we’re looking for skilled professionals to join us in shaping this dynamic and forward-thinking department.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to build, maintain, and optimize a cost-effective, cloud-native IT infrastructure and world-class IT support services. Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective communication.
Functional Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of IT processes, tools, and the integration and migration of IT platforms to support business operations. Provide hands-on guidance to ensure seamless implementation and efficient execution of IT initiatives.
Project Management: Lead the execution of IT operations and support projects, managing resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain service quality standards that align with internal customer needs and expectations. Ensure that all IT services are consistently reliable and meet defined performance criteria.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Drive continuous improvements in IT infrastructure and service delivery to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction.
ABOUT YOU
IT Operations Excellence: Proven expertise in driving operational excellence within IT environments. Strong understanding of customer-centric IT operations models that prioritize outcomes, efficiency, and business impact.
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of core IT infrastructure and operations, including ITSM frameworks, SaaS stack management, and IT Service Desk operations. Hands-on experience working within SMB or startup environments, with a strong grasp of cloud-native IT ecosystems.
Delivery Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT solution implementation and IT support, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
Business communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, along with fluency in English and Polish.
Multitasking and Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Project Management Expertise: Demonstrable proficiency in leading projects with an agile, value-driven approach, ensuring adaptability to changing needs and requirements throughout IT service management and delivery processes.
Procurement Support: Expertise in supporting IT hardware and software procurement processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance with contractual obligations while overseeing timelines and budget adherence.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
We work in a hybrid way and would like to catch up with you at our vibrant and colourful office in Kraków 3 days per week. This is an essential part of the role, as it supports collaboration and team engagement. If you’re not the working-from-home type, you’re of course welcome to join us in the office every day. Candidates should be based within a reasonable commuting distance to our Kraków office.
